Bio
Melanie Spinks is a conceptual artist who blends classical style with contemporary considerations. She received the Masters of Fine Arts degree in 1998 from Georgia State University-Atlanta and the Bachelors of Fine Arts in 1994 from Appalachian. She began Atlanta-based Spinks Studios and has been involved in museum arts for over a decade. In 2007 she completed the Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary studying the spiritual in art and theological aesthetics. She enjoys developing the passion and potential in others and has taught at Georgia State University Atlanta, Charleston Southern University, and the Gibbes Museum Studio in Charleston.
